The building, originally had 3 floors of office space above two ground floor shops.
The office’s, which were empty for a number of years has now been designed into 12 flats. Consisting of one and two bedrooms.
The site, being within the city centre has many constriants. Initially, of sufficent car parking, therfore a detailed car parking survey had to be undertaken to prove that thier is adequate car parking spaces within the catchment area of the site. In addition, a bike store is provided to accommodate 1 bike per flat.
Due to the resticitive nature of the city centre site and access, very carefull consideration is needed for the site operations and safe working.
Their are a number of hazards within this project which is higlighted on a hazard plan.
